So I say to Hubby let's go out to dinner Friday night since he is going turkey hunting today. I picked a new restuarant I had heard about called Mint Julep. Its southern food with a flair like a Kentucky Derby feel. So we get there and atmosphere is good. She leads us to a table for 2 and says oour server will be right with you. Well, what does that mean? 2 minutes, 39 minutes? After 15 minutes, Jodi comes over and says our server is very busy and she will take care of us. Hubby says ok, we need alcohol. Check. We ordered our ususal fare, vodka diet with lime for me and crown and coke with lime for him. Oh and water for the both. The menu seemed to be abit of the tapas style. They ad 3 for 15.99. So we got 3 and a salad and after that we ordered more. However, it was really really good. The ceasar salad was awesome, they brought us water crackers with some sort of cheese and vinagrette instead of bread, that was great and then we had shrimp and grips, tilapia concoctions and a bourban flank steak with potatoes, all in all , it was great, would we go back? Yeah with more people and order and taste everything. Thanks hubby!!
