Happy First Birthday!

This week my youngest niece turned 1. Today we are going to her house for a party at 500. I can't beleive how much they grow and so fast. Unfortunately Jasper and TD were not invited. Jasper is not well behaved when he goes over to see his cousins Buddy and Tiger! Ill bring them back some cake. Kidding hubby!

Gas and Water DON'T MIX

So hubby is out and needing gas. He pulls into a BP that he has been using for years and fills up. Well his chevy diesel filled truck decided something ain't right. He takes it to the dealership, they find water in his fuel tank. Nice, and he wasnt the only one so hopefully the incident will be taken care of by BP! If its not one thing with us lately, its; the other!

Ingown toenails be gone!

So that's not my toe, I am not putting a pic of my feet on this. For years, I have toenail issues. My friend Amy says that I need a toenail transplant, I just have ugly feet, can't help it. So 2 weeks ago, both big toes got infected and I was complaining at work and my coworker says go to her podiatrist and get them fixed. So I called on a thurs and got in Fri at 100. She numbs them up which hurts like the bejeeses and sprays this ice cold stuff on them which hurts worse and then cuts both sides off and they are gone forever. They are healing nicely, I have to put cream on them for 2 weeks and take antibiotics but hopefully it wont happen again!

FIX OR REPAIR DAILY

So my wonderful husband got me into FORD. My first car was a 1984 red chevy cavalier called the "Deer Slayer". One night my 16 year old friends and I were out headed to a party in Havana, Fla, and a huge deer ran out in front of me and smashed my car to pieces, needless to say we did not attend the party. I never got it prperly fixed, so one of my guy friends(can't remember who) named it the Deer Slayer. Second car was a 1985 blue 4 door subaru with a roll out sunroof that leaked and had no air condtioner. The 3rd car was a 1986 Honda Accord 2 door hatch back, loved that car until the ac died too. Those 3 cars each had over 78,000 miles and never ever did I have to spend 750.00 on it. The first car I bought out of nursing school was a 1997 green honda civic, 2 door sport loaded, loved it. Had it for 3 years and never had to repair a thing. Then I got into the SUV mode, so my dad was working at Jeep and they had that 325.00 month leasing thing so of course I got one. I loved that too, had that for 4 years and eventually the passenger door wouldnt open, and then I met FORD loving hubby. "Let's go to Ford and look at the explorers". Okay why not, he had one, his dad and his brother too. Ok!! So after driving one, of course traded mine in for the Explorer. It turned out to be crappy too because right before we moved here, the back glass burst out on me in the Publix parking lot and after my hubby researched it after paying 1000.00 for it, it was recalled and we never got the notice, so he got all his money back. Well at 50,000 miles everything started to go, so we traded it in for this POS I have now. It is the bottom of the line no frills explorer bought in Sept 2006 and this week the radiator died and cost me 750.00......I am so never ever buying a Ford again. Oh and hubby drives a CHEVY now!!!!!!!!!!

Happy 2 years baby!

So February 24th hubby and I have been married for 2 blissful years(hah). Instead of going to Ruth Chris again like last year, I let him decide. He loves Italian so we went to Moe's Grapevine on Rosewood. Our first experience led to some great things happening after alot of wine, so I thought hey why not. Second visit though, not so much, not many people there and food not fantastic and we both went home to sleep, it was a Tuesday work night. But it was great. I thank God everyday for him and for my cousin turning 21 and inviting him and me to his party and that I picked him up!! I love you hubby!!!!!

Finally a DOGGY DOOR!!!!!!!!!

My wonderful husband knows how much I love to have the doors and windows open. Well when Jasper the bird dog came along, we had to retire 2 screen doors(so far). The first one, he ate when he was a puppy and the one after that, well he broke that one too. He loves to be inside with mommy and daddy when we are home and if the glass door is shut and he can see you, he cries the whole time and it breaks my heart. So, daddy got a steel framed door installed with a doggy door!!!! The first night was a teaching lesson that made me rethink how smart I thought they were. They just didnt know what to do with it. Finally on day 2 they got it. It rained all day yesterday so they took turns just staring out of it. Now Jasper goes in and out about 600 times a day while we are home and the little door makes a noise so i hear it each time, it gets annoying as you can imagine. However I do like it. This morning I was cleaning the floors and I shut the glass door and did not put the while plastic cover over the door, do the geniuos that TD is tried to get in but quickly his nose was stopped by the glass. Sorry bud, I will not do that again!
Thanks again hubby, you are the best!
