The New Adventure Begins!

My wonderful hardworking husband is going to open his own store where he will sell pool supplies, chemicals, patio furniture and other things. I am so proud of him because he will finally get to be off his feet some, hopefully! The store will be on Millwood Ave. next to MillCreek Dogfood store. Wish us luck!

Time Warner Cable sucks

So We bought a great high def tv and called Direct tv to upgrade our sattelite. This was months ago, anyway a 13 year old came out to tell us no way hose because we live in a neighborhood with massive pine trees and they can't be cut down and the satellie can't see all of the other satellites for the high def channels. So we have to subscribe to Time Warner Cable and since the day we have paid them, months and months ago, the high def channels have never worked for more than 1 week. We have had 6 techs out here to rewire, reboot, redo everything and still nothing. So today I am going to take this frigging box to them and get a new one again and for a week hopefully we can see our TV! Oh and the surround sound broke, took to a place that charges 40.00 just to diagnose it and they tell us that they have to send it back to Sony and it will cost over 200.00, so hubby told them to trash it and now we can get a new one for about the same price! UGHHHHHHH! Well at least it won't rain this weekend so we can finally go out on the boat Sunday! Lake Murray here we come!

Worst birthday ever

This is not me, but it is how I feel. Today is my birthday and nothing has been good at all, I mean nothing! I take TD to the vet for his annual visit and it costs me more than 3 haircuts(260.00). Then I talk to my dad whose dog that is the love of his life is in pain from his bones and then I get home and the 100 year old lady that used to live next door until they placed her in a home, son came by and said my dogs bark too much and they can't sell their house. I had to be really really rude and cuss him out and shut the door. Both dogs are sound alsleep not making a peep!!!!!! I am so over everything that if something good doesnt happen, I will split in two!

Ode to Bea

I have to say I grew up watching the Golden Girls and still find it absolutely hilarious. I still watch it sometimes, even this morning. I was laying in bed with Jasper and turned the TV on, and they are having a Golden Girls marathon, of course I have seen all the episodes. It is just sad that as we get older, our favorite TV icons and others get older too and it just makes you stop and think that one day it will happen to our friends and family too. Sorry didn't mean to be somber but wow.... Live each day to the fullest and hug and love everyone!

The weekend

So Wonderful neighbors and friends invited me over to hang out and of course when I get with them, I tend to "splurge" in the adult beverage department. But I do have to say it is always a fun time. We don't get naked or do shots or anything crazy, we just hang out, watch TV, and complain etc... Hubby is away hunting for Turkeys and apparently did not get one. Oh well it will be pizza for dinner then. Until next weekend then.....

Old houses

NIce top drawer where our silverware is kept. No longer, we will now have to get someone to fix it. The house was built in 1974, the year I was born, so 35 years old. We have been fxing things for 3 years now. But I love it, couldnt imagine living anywhere else unless the lottery goes our way, then see ya, new house with pool and new car, etc..But its frustrating that now the silverware is in its holder in the laundry room and we have this gaping hole and blah blah. Anyone want to fix it?
